Safe Creative Multicultural

A safe, creative atmosphere allows each child to relax & feel secure. Our caring professional staff is here to serve your child?s needs, from helping with homework to creative art projects, to making latkes, to working in the garden or playing a fun game. Jewish education is integrated into the curriculum.

Our Goals

The goal of the Center Stage Berkeley Afterschool Program is to expand the curiosity of all children in a culturally rich and creative Jewish environment. The program offers a unique space where self-directed learning is encouraged. A safe, creative atmosphere allows the children to relax and feel secure. Our professional caring staff is there to serve your child needs, from helping with homework to reading a story, to working in the garden or playing a boisterous game of soccer in our outdoor play yard.

Reflecting the Diverse Needs of Our Community

Center Stage Berkeley Afterschool Program is a service of the Berkeley Richmond Jewish Community Center. The JCC?s educational, social and recreational programs are designed to reflect the diverse needs of this community, which includes all ages, traditional and non-traditional families, intercultural families, singles, adults and seniors.

Safe and Fully Licensed

Center Stage Berkeley Afterschool Program is fully licensed through the California Community Care Licensing Agency and is a favorite after school destination for elementary and middle school age children (grades K-6) in the Berkeley, Albany, and West Contra Costa school districts.
